This is such a beautiful work shop! It looks so cozy. I like to see your work table is by the window. You have a lot of natural light.

Thank you so much, Cat, Michelle and Irith! I really love spending time in there, but have been having trouble finding the time. Maybe once the holidays are over... Dawn

I can't remember if I posted or not back early in this topic. But great job. I hope you find more time to spend there. My work shop is one corner of the basement. Its cool in the summer, and sweater weather in the winter. And it needs a winter/post holiday declutter and cleanup! My second shop is my office. I am alone there, and can get various things done while there. So I take projects there to clutter my drafting table. Present issue for me is I want to to bring my anvil and anvil stand down to the basement. I am going to need help with that, for sure. Brad

Thank you, Brad! The time issue is my own fault. I tend to put everything else first, household tasks, yard work, running errands, etc., and the studio time ends up at the bottom of the priority list. It's not that it isn't a priority for me, it's just that I have this weird idea that all those other things have to get done first before I can reward my self with time in the studio. But, by the time everything else is done, it's late in the day and I'm often no longer in the mood for doing anything creative. I'm working on that, but change doesn't come easy. I can relate to your basement shop as my studio at our old house was in what had been a storage room off of the garage. It was sort of a half basement, and like yours, it was cool in the summer and cold in the winter. Good luck getting the anvil and stand moved. Those things are heavy! Dawn
