An online friend told another friend about my octopuses and she asked me to make one for her. She chose a moss agate cab for the head and when I mentioned I had made a moss agate octopus with moss agate beads in the tentacles before, she also wanted some, but she left everything else to me and I'm happy to say that she approved of the design when I sent her pictures

Thank you, Carina! I had fun making it because the lady pretty much gave me free rein, but also because she was fine with it taking a little longer due to the breaks I needed. I kept her up-to-date on each step

I love it! The addition of the beads in the tentacles is a very nice touch - I think this one is my new favorite of your octopus designs. Also nice is that the customer let you run with it and didn't get overly involved in the design process. Dawn

Thank you, Dawn! I think the green just works very well with the copper. She fell in love with a flower lampwork bead I had used for an octopus before, but I didn't have anything similar and didn't even remember who had made the bead, just that it was an orphan bead. So I showed her several cabs and she chose the moss agate which was lucky because I still had the beads to go with it. I guess it had to be!

Yea, green and blue just love being paired with copper. Those colors are made for each other. Dawn
