There is no doubt in my mind that the food distraction worked on the little glutton... Irith, beautiful selections. So hard to choose, but I think the first pair of earrings is my favorite. I love their shape. And, of course, the pair you kept for yourself - I think we all want to keep those for ourselves! More beauties from you, Carina. Of these, I'd say my favorite is the first photo with the necklace/earring set. So sorry that your hands are giving you trouble. That seems to be a common thing to happen for those who work with their hands as they get older. I was having a lot of pain in my hands a couple of years ago and then one day I bought a set of soft rubber balls to exercise my hands and I was amazed at how well and how quickly that worked for me. I haven't had any pain in my hands since. I don't know if that would work for you, but I thought I'd share my experience. Dawn

I'm glad you found something, Dawn They are lovely, but my favorite has always the fall leaf pendant. The cluster of pearls and beads on top looks so rich and beautiful.

Dawn Thank you for thinking with me Dawn, I have used a rubber ball in warm water to get my muscles back on strength again. The problem is that 1 of my knuckles, the one that was broken, has moved from their place. I have somewhat lost my grip and mobility in that hand.

Very hard to pick a favorite Dawn, they are all very wearable.

Thank you, Cat and Carina! Ahhh, I get that, Carina. The knee I broke a few years ago healed slightly crooked and doesn't bend quite right so I have to go down stairs turned slightly sideways. Broken bones are a whole different challenge than stiff muscles and tendons. Dawn

Dawn, I love all of your pieces, but the pendant with the leaves and bead cluster is special and colorful. I also love your necklace with the painted shell pendant.

Dawn, all of your work is beautiful. I don’t think I’ve seen that last necklace before. Lovely!

Thank you, Michelle! That necklace goes way back to when I was just learning and had started experimenting with painting wood beads and when most of my work was strung jewelry. I hadn't even learned how to make wrapped loops at that time! That necklace is a combination of painted wood beads paired with pearls. It's still for sale in my Etsy shop, but some day the right person will find it. Dawn

Dawn, shush me if I'm overstepping, but I think your pictures don't show the full beauty of that necklace. Have you tried a slightly darker background before so the colors can really pop off the page? It's so lovely.

Of the last necklace? That is a good idea. That photo was taken when I was still new to photographing jewelry as well. There are several pieces I should take new pictures of as they are no longer sized correctly for Etsy photo standards which makes them look a bit out of focus on my listings. It's hard to find the motivation to take new photos of all that stuff, but maybe if I did one at a time and didn't think about how many there are, it would be easier. After this remodel is done, I'll start with some of those older pieces. I already have the red frog and the black/white butterfly sitting on my desk waiting for me to take new photos. Regarding your suggestion of a darker background, I completely agree. I've started doing that with new pieces and like the look much better. Phooey on the white backgrounds! Dawn

P.S. Looking at the photo I posted of the necklace, you can see that it's out of focus. I copied it from my Etsy shop because the original photos are on my old, old laptop which is packed away in a moving box. One of the things I want to do one of these days (I say that a lot) is to put all of those photos on a memory stick so that I will have access to them. Dawn
