Until today I usually bezel set the stones in my jewelry. Lately I am trying to make jewelry with prong set stones. I began with earrings which I've shown here before, and this time it is a large faceted Rhodonite stone: I hope you will like it.

Beautiful, Irith! I, too, like the embellishments on the shank. I would think that getting the prongs in just the right position to firmly hold the stone takes some thought and planning and is not as easy as some would think. Dawn

I'm with Cat and Dawn, I too love the embellishments on the shank. I love prong settings, it leaves more of the stone to look at.
