Steam Punk picture frame

Back in 2021 I pimped a picture frame.
This is one of the items that I'm still happy with.
We have it hanging on one the walls in the kitchen.

It is made on a mdf frame that I painted and distressed, I even tossed in some gold leafing.
I attached gears to it which I cut from cardboard, painted them and stacked in different layers.

The prints I used are victorian images of steam machinery which I aged with several ink colors but mainly walnut stain.
After the inking I laminated them and glued them to the back of the frame

I made a slideshow from the proces and of it finished. 




Hope you all like it as much as I do.  
Btw hubby must like it too because this is the only creation of mine he allows on our wall.

I tried to make a second one but that didn't go as planned.

That's really cool, Carina!

I like the rusty gears and the way you grouped them. I'm always drawn to art that has a kind of rustic, industrial feel to it and this one has all that.

Thank you Dawn, it almost took me the same time to get the composition the way I wanted,
as to getting all the colours on the parts and glueing it all together.
