No worries and thank you!
Actually there is an American peacock butterfly as well, from the southeastern US to South America, the white peacock, beautiful, just not as colorful.

When I was a kid we lived out in the country and a neighbor had peacocks that decided they wanted to strike out on their own. They were often seen wandering all around the neighboring properties and they produced chicks not long after they left home. Over the years, their population rapidly grew. One of their offspring's offspring was a white peacock. He was stunning as the white feathers had an irridescence to them that made the feathers shimmer as they reflected light. Even though they were completely white, the eyes in the tail feathers were clearly visible. Sadly, the other peacocks didn't like him, probably because he was different, and they often chased him off. Happily, he took to hanging around our house and it was always a treat to see him. I'll have to look up the American version of the peacock butterfly. Dawn

We had a white peacock at the zoo. Absolutely amazing, actually all of them were. The neighbors didn't take kindly to one of them landing on their balcony, though, and they complained about the cries (a few of them have complained about everything possible, good reason or not ... we are still there, but had to rehome one or the other animal, including the peacocks.)

Here is my first entry. (There will be another if I can figure out how to do it. And it’s likely going to be late So what’s new, right? ;D) This was my entry for Vintage Glamour Wallpaper Spoonflower challenge. I scored 465 out of 1500. I’m pretty happy with that.

We had a peacock somewhere in our neighborhood, we could hear him/her cry all the time. I never saw it in real life though. I always loved peacocks, the white ones and the colourful ones.
I'm sure if I can make it to play along with the challenge but I sure love to see what you guys all come up with.

Thank you, Michelle!
That really is an amazing design, so rich and a bit decadent. It would make a great eyecatcher for one wall with more neutral walls in an elegant room.

I'm working on mine. It's not what I hoped or planned to make, but we've been so busy it's going to have to be good enough. I'm going to be happy simply to have made something for this challenge. Dawn
