It’s not jewelry, but it may be a jewelry tray. Or just a trinket tray? We will see. This is my first tray. Made from a piece of repurposed copper cut off a large artist’s etched plate. A learning experience while trying many things. I did a “Roycroft-ish” patina. I posted two pics of the same piece using two different filters….i still need a light box! The piece is in fact fairly dark. Brad

Oooo, wonderful! Not only do I love the texture, but I also like the design you've engraved/etched into the bottom of the tray. You'll get around to that light tent one of these days, Brad! Dawn

Thank you, it was a fun project that opens up a lot of pounding in the future. My next one may include an etched design on bottom flat area and the lip/borders . Brad

An FYI on the stamped graphics...While various graphics can have multiple symbolism, here is what I am using. The arrows with the "branched" ends: the arrow represents life and/or strength. The branch symbolizes peace. The circle in the middle symbolizes the sun, and the cycle of life, the wholeness, the completion. This week I will put the tray through a brief "smudging" ceramony-in homage to the Native American Cultures. Brad

The trouble with show and tell to friends and family at home, is the, "Could you make one of those for me?" syndrome. Brad
