I thought you would have fun - I was thinking of you for example, Brad - taking a look at this IG account. I think it's wonderful that a young person is keeping this alive. Cranston Fancy WireI would have added a video here, but the video feature doesn't work for IG videos.

Thank you, for sharing that link. Yep, cool to keep that going. But I would sure like to get in on the plate sale if he ever closes the doors. Brad

I've got another one that might interest you. I don't remember if I mentioned him before, his work blows me away, especially the Sutton Hoo cat armor. His name is Jeff de Boer. One of our members of the predecessor forum said she had the luck to hear him talk and that he documents every step he does, a real treasure trove. www.instagram.com/jeffdeboersculpture/

Kevin Potter from Potter USA is single-handedly doing his best to preserve his craft. He is always buying collections from others who are going out of business. I've also heard really great things about the rolling mill he sells. Plus he seems like an all-around nice guy - good to his staff, his customers, and always willing to help out.

a rolling mill can do wonders for many jewelry designers. My teacher taught us a technique for making a lace design on Silver with a rolling mill.
