Or should I say snow people? Our theme for Nov/Dec was to make snowmen jewelry. This thread is for posting what was submitted to the challenge. I made these earrings our of pearly buttons. Everything I used was material I already had which I liked. It's nice to use up things in the stash. The hats are made of black felt and plaid Christmas ribbon. I used the same ribbon for the scarves. The buttons are black sequins which I didn't even know I had until I rummaged through the stash. Because the hats sit fairly high, I opted to make post earrings rather than use ear wires. I know that some of you are running late with your challenge pieces. When you are ready, post them here! Dawn

Cat (caeterle) made this wonderful snowman. He's so special and I love all of the details. Dawn

Thank you, Dawn! The base is metallic blue leather, the technique is my usual backstitch bead embroidery - and I didn't break a needle, yay - with flat and circular Herringbone for the scarf and branch arms. The eyes and buttons are O beads. The backing is the same leather and I just painted the edges silver as they are not like the usual background and didn't need an edging.
