This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is in honor of the clocks being turned back - DARK AND LIGHT. Interpret that however you want! Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made five years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler. We hope to see a lot of creative pics of your DARK AND LIGHT jewelry. We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us? The Oldies but Goodies Challenges will last two weeks, so you have enough time to share your items! To make it easier, the end date is in the subject now.

I dug back to I believe 2014. The first and only real show I participated in. I shared a table with a silk scarf dying woman. The event was a bazaar our church had been putting on in the community for many decades. Anyone in the community could get a space (until all spaces taken) and I believe our church took a 25%-ish cut used for community charity outreach. It was always well-attended. These were pieces I had done in my first year of jewelry making and metalsmithing. I sold out, as I recall. And since I gave 100% to our church I had all pieces priced a bit too cheap I suppose. Light/Dark...Dark/bright. These may be a stretch, but wanted to get it going here. Brad (seems so long ago) copper pipe crosses 3 patinas copper and silver Attachments:

Beautiful, Brad. I really like the textures and colors you achieved on the crosses. It's hard to tell from the photo, what is their size? Cuffs are gorgeous. Even way back then, I can see that you paid attention to detail. Dawn

(a copper pipe cuff was the first piece of jewelry I ever made...pipe leftover from our water pipe replacement.) They are about 12" tall, and the two sections about an inch wide. Thanks, Brad

You all are putting on an amazing show here!
Brad, beautiful work! I am especially drawn to the cuffs. I think seeing the variety of colors altogether is really dramatic.
Cat, the cat earrings are adorable and I’m always partial to your dagger necklaces. (I love mine.)
Irith, your work is always gorgeous, but I love the last necklace. The vivid blue against the gold is incredible.

What a great selection, Michelle! I know I keep repeating myself, but you are still my multi-strand necklace queen.
