I recently tried to create a topic while using my iPhone, instead of on the computer. I never found the option to attach images? Brad

Brad, I am completely clueless about Apple products, but I seem to remember people had that problem before. I went to the ProBoards support forum and did a quick search. I found some threads over the years, but have no idea if these are going to help, one of them is ten years old. From the thread support.proboards.com/thread/425080/posting-pictures-phone"With the app, it's pretty straight forward but depends on what version their using. When creating a post with the iPhone app, press on the "Open Advanced Options" bar that appears above the virtual keyboard that pops-up. In here you can select either the "Camera" option to take a new picture with the camera, or press "Photo Album" to choose a picture that you've already taken from your photo album." Now comes the big BUT. Usually iPhone pictures are too big for attachments, so "Camera" is out completely and "Photo Album" would only work if the pictures have been resized beforehand. As mentioned before, this forum - being as small as it is - only has very restricted storage space and therefore also a restriction on the photo size.

I will try that. I did download an app to resize pics, for uploading to this site. Thank you, I will let you know if it all works when I try it again. Brad

If it doesn't work, I can try to ask support directly.

Testing from my phone. I dont have the app, but I was able to post a pic by clicking on "reply" and then scrolling down to the option that says "desktop" and clicking on that. From there I was able to attach my photo, but the text I had previously entered disappeared so I had to retype it. As Cat said the photo has to be resized to meet the forum guidelines. It is a bit clunky, isn't it? Dawn

I don't remember, do you have an iPhone or Android, Dawn?

Cat, I have a Samsung android. I missed the part where Brad posted that he has an iphone. Don't know if that would make a difference or not.

It seems to be slightly different according to the post I linked to. As I said, though, it's an old one.

Maybe Brad will come back and let us know if he was able to post a pic with his phone. Dawn
