Oh, Michelle, what a pity! That's one reason I have never worn open bracelets, I know myself too well. Is that steel? It's really pretty, I hope it found a new owner.
Thank you also for your kind comment!

Thank you, Irith! I love that first pair, the stones are so gorgeous, but you know I also love your opal pieces! Thank you Cat. The second stone is and Ocean Jasper. Michelle, your open bangle is so beautiful! I would love to wear it.

Thank you so much, Michelle! The white components in the earrings you mentioned are membranes from the seed pods from a lunaria plant, also known as the money plant. I also used them in the first necklace. When the plant goes dormant for the winter, the seeds and white membrane are contained between two dull brown husks and when rubbed between the fingers or disturbed by the wind, the husks fall off revealing the shimmering white membrane beneath. I coated them in several layers of resin to make them usable for jewelry. I just find them to be magical. My Spanish teacher friends had them growing in her yard and she keeps me supplied with the pods. They are easy to grow and I think I'm going to start some seeds in order to have my own supply. Here is a picture of what the dormant plant looks like. The branches with the seed pods attached are also lovely to use in bouquets. In the summer they have bright green leaves and purple flowers. Love, love, love that cuff, Michelle! And, I agree that it would be perfect for a bride to wear. What a shame that it was lost. Maybe someday you will make yourself another one with a clasp or a safety chain. I, too, hope that the lucky person who found it gets great pleasure in wearing it. Dawn

Thanks so much, ladies! And yes, Cat, it is stainless steel. Really great for a foundation like in this bracelet.
And Dawn, what a cool idea to use those seed pods. I hadn’t thought about it in forever, but I remember my grandmother having a dried bouquet with those pods in it. I love that you are using them in jewelry.
