This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is BRIDAL JEWELRY. We last did this topic in 2015. This doesn't mean it has to be white, there are many different kinds of weddings, just choose what you think a bride might like to wear Or maybe even a bridegroom? Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made five years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler. We hope to see a lot of creative pics of your BRIDAL JEWELRY. We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us? The Oldies but Goodies Challenges will last two weeks, so you have enough time to share your items! To make it easier, the end date is in the subject now.

I'll go ahead and get this one started. I tend to think of bridal jewelry as white, but as Cat said white is not a requirement for jewelry to be bridal. Which is a good thing since I have very little white jewelry in my stash! Here are a few things I think would work: With the addition of a dainty chain, this could make a nice bridal necklace: A few more: Dawn

HaHa, Cat! We were posting at the same time - great minds! I have a couple more I want to share, but I went over the five picture limit in my first post. I'll post those and then will come back to comment on your work. Dawn

Cat, every one of your pieces would be gorgeous for a bride. When I think of bridal jewelry, what you've submitted is exactly the type of jewelry that comes to mind. All of them are so beautiful that it's nearly impossible to choose a favorite, but that first one has always been a favorite of mine. If I had to choose that one would be it. Dawn

Weeeeell, that's a hard choice between your lunaria necklaces which you know I absolutely love and your painted pendants which would compliment any bridal outfit. Like you said, feminine and romantic, that's just what I have always been thinking. I don't think I can pick one!
Thank you for your kind comment! All of these were next to each other in my "sold" folder, so I went the easy way by choosing them. I even once sold a pendant like the one in the bottom set for a wedding.

Cat I love them all. Very bridal! The necklace with the pearls in them are wonderful! I would love to wear the top one. Perfect for me!
Dawn, they are all so beautiful and unusual! I wouldn't know which one to choose! Perhaps the round painted one with the flowers.

So pretty, Irith. All of your pieces would make wonderful bridal jewelry. The first pair of earrings are such a lovely shade of blue; they'd work perfectly as the "something blue" a bride should wear on her wedding day. Dawn

Cat, these pieces are all so pretty, and perfect for a wedding. Your wire knitting and crocheting amazes me.
Dawn, so many pretty pieces! And your painted pieces always amaze me. But I don’t think I’ve see the white…, shell? earrings with the tiny pink flowers before. Perfect for a bride.
Irith, such fabulous pieces! I love the opal necklace, and I don’t think I’ve seen the other necklace. Beautiful!
Anyway, I would happily wear any of these gorgeous pieces, ladies! I count myself lucky to have this talented group.

I have just one piece that I think would work for a bride. Although if I were to make it again, I’d make some kind of clasp for it, because I lost it when I was wearing it. (I hope someone found it and is enjoying it.)
