I don't have any problems with beads. Mine are soldered: Of course I miss the beautiful colorfulness of your beaded studs cymmy which makes them look special. I have yet to find the courage to attempt soldering!

Cymmy, soldering is no problem, but better for you to take a few lessons with someone who can teach you the right steps and how to be cautious. Once you know It should not be a problem. You may even enjoy it.

You may even enjoy it. If my son ever makes it over here again not only will I have him teach me soldering but torching also. he welds and knows how to do all that stuff.

Soldering looks like a lot of fun. I may see if I can find a class when things are more normal-ish.
