Here is a baby blanket I recently finished - and I have enough blocks to make a second one. They will be donated to Project Linus, and given to kids in need.

I really love the color combination, it looks so happy and warm. A wonderful donation! How long has it taken you to make this? I never made granny squares myself, not even when I had to crochet in elementary school, but in 4th grade a classmate made a fun vest of colorful crochet disks (I think I may have mentioned that before).

There is a child out there who is going to love that blanket! I love those colors - so bright, so cheerful and so welcoming. Dawn

Thank you! As to how long it took to make, I’d estimate 3 or 4 months, but I wasn’t working at it too hard. Some nights, I worked on jewelry or quilting instead. After I got familiar with pattern, I could 4 or 5 blocks in an evening in front of the TV. This blanket has 49 blocks.
