While I will continue to use Delicas there is often a big size difference, especially in the color black. I have also noticed that color size differs from one color to another. Here's an example of Delica size differences. It's obvious the first black bead is thinner than the others. I now make it a regular point to check if the bead is the same size as others which should be another bead rule, by the way. So far, after six months of using Aikos for rings I've had to cull only two and one of those was a broken bead.

I have never used Aikos, but it's funny, I always find the white Delica beads to be different in size. I also noticed differences between some matte and shiny beads.

Not really had any experience with Aikos. Don't recall having used them. I kinda think though that when you are dealing with tiny seed beads it must be very difficult to get them perfect 100% of the time. I tend to keep my 'culled' beads and use them for bead embroidery.

I thought the big selling point of Delicas was their consistency along with the large hole size. I'm surprised!
