As mentioned elsewhere, I am having problems with my shoulder at the moment, so I had to take a timeout from both beading and most of my computer activities. This was the last piece I made before that. Remember the wire knit socks? They are in here, together with needles and yarn (nothing new about that) and a rolled up miniature magazine, a copy of "The Schachenmayrin" from the 30s. That brand of yarn is made in my county, only a few miles from here. They also published several editions of a three volume introduction into knitting and crocheting which is actually the source of how I learned to knit socks. Eventually I'd like to make a miniature of one of those volumes, too. For this basket I chose the magazine because my printer is a little temperamental about color these days, and the magazine was in black and white in the 30s, and because rolled up it was easier to incorporate.

Adorable, Cat! I love it! So detailed.
What happened to your shoulder? I'm sorry it's hurting you. Shoulder pain not fun, to say the least.

Now I understand what happened. This is a very cute little basket. Good idea to give your shoulder a rest. Wish you a fast recovery.

Thank you! I also wanted to fit scissors in, but they would have been too much. I probably have a pinched nerve or something, Gayle, it's really annoying and being without creative outlet is driving me crazy! I had to wait for an appointment for a while because my doc retired without asking me (tsktsk), but I'll have one in a few days.

Love the details on the basket!
Cat, I hope your shoulder is feeling better soon,
I have had it in my upper back/shoulder a few times now, and usually it took 2 or 3 days and then it was gone. Last time it almost took a week.
I hope it will be better before your doctors appointment.
