Here is a compilation that shows some more of my craziness. I have bought about 20 or 25 kilo (could be more I didn't weigh them) of these chain maille rings from a lady last month, so what to do with them all. Just finished them off with the leather cords today. The necklaces are made from the "Ringleader" pattern I received from Facet-Metal in my mailbox.

Yay for chain maille! I like how you attached the pendants, almost like the maille itself. And what's better than maille and leather? Yup, craziness but I like it!

I can make so many with the rings and the leather, I have a lot of both of them, in different colours. I think I never showed the video of my chain maille rings haul. The bigger box is 60X40X20cm I forgot to place the scales in the video, so these are only the rings and the flowers

Carina, aren't you the tech savvy one with the video. What a great way to see the pieces. Love the leather and chain maille mixed.

Thank you ladies, I am working on 1 or 2 more. The videos are way easy to make, just up load them to facebook and say it is a dia slide, you can add up to 7 photo's amd then choose some music. I then downloaded it from facebook, loaded it to you tube and then linked it here. Now reading this that is a lot of work for a slideshow. I used to make them in iPhoto, will check that option for the next set. About the haul .............. I'm still ecstatic about that one.

You are very ambitious Carina. 25 Kgs?!... well for you it will be no problem to use all of them because you are an expert on chain maille and a fast worker!

I'm not an expert on chain maille Irith, not by a long shot, but thanks for the compliment. Buying these chain maille rings was a very rare and very lucky opportunity. I bought them all, polymer clay flowers included for € 350,-- and, the lady brought them to my house all included in the € 350,-- The lady counted over 4000 bags with the coloured rings, more then 500 with the square wire rings and about 100 with the rubber rings. The polymer clay flowers are more then 3000, I stopped counting after 2 bags, there where 7 in total. Maybe I start teaching chain maille in the future, I do have rings enough now.

Oh my gosh! Done died and gone to maille heaven! Can't wait to see all you make. That's exactly how I felt when that lady contacted me about these rings. I have so many weaves I want to try that I don't know where to start.

It's cool to see you get started on that massive haul, Carina. It must have been the deal of the century. You are off to a good start - love what you've done with the rings! Dawn

I don't think it's a lifetime supply. But at least it's for the time being.
