The stone used in the pendant and all of the beads are from my stash, so I guess I should put this in Cat's stash challenge too. The beads are leopard jasper and as best as I can tell the cab is too. If anyone thinks it is something else, please say so because I listed it as leopard jasper and if it's not, I would like to correct the description. Anyway --- The cab is netted in oxidized copper wire and it and the leopard jasper beads are strung on a copper bar with ends that have been hammered into paddle shapes in order to securely hold the beads and the cab. The entire thing was then suspended from copper chain. Thanks for looking! Dawn

That looks very cool. I like how the cab seems to be floating in the netting and of course I have always been partial to an extra dangle. It's a beautiful composition.

I like this necklace a lot! I thought Leopard Jasper looked different. Here is an example similar to what I have in my stash I think your pendant is definitelty Jasper, but not leopard.

I forgot to answer that. I have a tumbled leopard skin jasper that looks more like Irith's picture, too. If I'm not sure about one of my jasper stones, I just write jasper in my descriptions.

Yes Cat, that's exactly what I would do. The Yellow and light Green shades of the stone are beautiful!

I name mine also just jasper when I don't know what kind it is.
Btw yours is a looker, it think it's either Picasso Jasper or Picture Jasper.

Thank you so much for the kind words, ladies! I appreciate your help with identifying the jasper as well. I went with leopard because the pendant has the same colors as the beads which were labeled leopard jasper. I think I will change my listing to say just "jasper" and now I'm off to look at Piccasso and picture jaspers. Irith, after seeing your example of leopard jasper, I have to agree that this stone probably isn't leopard. Dawn
