Do you remember the bead loomed bracelet with the carnelians? I promised you a series and here are the first pictures. Fire - Czech and Miyuki seed beads and carnelian Water - Miyuki seed beads and Biwa pearls Earth - Miyuki seed beads and fossilized coral Sky/Air - Toho and Miyuki seed beads and white glass beads There will be a "fifth element", but that's going to need special beads if I can find something at all.

Absolutely gorgeous, Cat! I love the way the Biwa pearls look in the water bracelet. Beautiful series! Do you have any more planned? Dawn

Another incredible series Cat, I am so very jealous of those incredible pearls. I have to track down some for myself. x

Thank you Dawn, I think I found some cabs for the "fifth element", but I have to work on my peyote skills, so it won't be very soon. I thought about taking a break from this for now, but maybe get back with a second series "Seasons" eventually.

Very impressive Love the fire one. Do you do different sizes? Since every customer has got a different wrist size or are they stretchy? Can you guess (or even know) how long it takes to make one from first bead to finish?

Thank you, Sylvia They are not stretchy. In fact I made the first one just to use up some beads from my old stash and never thought about starting a whole series. If someone wanted one in a different size, I could make one if I found the right beads, and also add a clasp instead of using snap buttons if needed. I already looked it up - similar carnelian beads are not that hard to find, neither are the corals (these were the beads I already used up). The lady who destashed the carnelian beads back then, a co-worker of mine, is interested in the Fire one for a friend. As it will probably be too small for the friend, however, I offered her to take off the snap buttons and add a clasp instead. It's the shortest bracelet of them all, the others have standard sizes. I like snap buttons for heavier bracelets because they close all around the wrist and don't "hang" where the clasp is. As for the time, they took longer than I would have thought. The looming is faster than usual because I don't have a pattern, but then there's the re-weaving, the sewing on of the snap buttons and the sewing on of the beads - probably around 7 hours. I usually measure the time in episodes of TV shows I'm "watching" when looming, but with each bracelet I needed more breaks. I'm not good at doing the basically same thing over and over *cough*
