Here is my new bead loom wall hanging. It is about 4 X 7 inches in size. I got the idea from a poster that my sister has in her kitchen. x

How fun! The fringe on the bottom is a cool tribute to flapper dresses.

How fun! The fringe on the bottom is a cool tribute to flapper dresses. Ooh I am so pleased you said that as that is exactly the look I wanted. x

Caroline, the fringe is the icing on the cake. When I saw it, I thought what a great finishing touch.

Caroline, I have a postcard, dated around 1930, where the writer says "Imagine Charlestoning on this beach?". Your piece is the bees knees!

Thank you for your lovely comments. I am now in the process of beading the dowel that this will hang from.

Proving once again to not stand still at Lotty's house or you are in danger of being beaded! Hmmm I did wonder where my husband had gone and there does seem to be a huge mound of beads in the corner.

Love the fringe, as Michele said, it goes with the "flapper" dresses from that time period.
