Thanks, Michele. I saw this in my inbox and was going to come back to it later. You reminded me!

Sheeesh, make me feel old with a Kodak Instamatic! I would also add another step because I'm still seeing this: too dark or too light pics. It takes a bit more time but list and check the image. Some sites make the image darker, some lighter. Do the Edit thing and fix if necessary. I've seen so many dark, really dark Etsy listings; makes me wonder why list at all. (Now I'll just hobble away after days of shoveling snow. Driveway gets plowed but am hoping for snow blower next year.)

Poor baby! You need a snow blower!!!
I've noticed the forum posts darker than what shows up on my monitor when I edit a pic. I guess I should edit lighter?

Gayle, yup, need a snow blower. But I have to admit that I'd really like a small bucket loader as well. See them everywhere here. Yeah, you probably should edit after posting. On another site, for antiques, what was a very light pic came out really dark. Best bet is to duplicate the finished pic on your pc before fixing light or dark, just in case something goes wrong. (But then, nothing EVER goes wrong, huh?)
