For those of you who are selling your jewelry online, do you use the signature space provided here, in your emails and at any other sites you visit? If not, you are missing an opportunity. It takes very little effort and it's free advertising. Six months ago I sent my neighbor an email to let him know there was a mountain lion around. He replied back thanking me for the head's up and that was it. I didn't give it another thought. Last week, his wife called me and said she'd visited my Artfire studio. She had selected several items she was interested in as Christmas gifts for her sister, daughter and grand daughters but she wanted to see them in person before making a final decision. She asked me to come to her home and bring those items and to select some other things I thought she might be interested in as well. I packed up a tub of jewelry, we spent a pleasant couple of hours looking at everything and I came away with $143 in sales. Not only did she purchase all of her picks, she also purchased some of the things I selected for her to look at. All because her husband passed along the link to my shop that I had put in the signature space of my email. You never know who might click on those links so if you haven't already, take a minute and just do it! Dawn

Wow! Congrats on the sale, Dawn!
You can bet I'm on my way over to my email to include my Etsy link!
Thanks for the tip.

Thank your for the congrats - that sale came out of nowhere. My bad, but I'd never told the neighbors that I make jewelry so the link was the only clue they had! Glad to offer a helpful tip and one that is cheap and easy and doesn't require vast amounts of time keeping up with. Dawn

I have a link to my website in my signature too. I could place my "Yealie" and my facebook page in it, have to think about that. Have it for years now but never had the luck you had. Hope you get many more customers this way.
