Boho, tribal, ethnic, I dunno. It looks something like that to me. This is another component I found at the curiosity shop I mentioned in my Leaf Cuff thread. I wrapped it in copper wire following the diamond shaped pattern in the pendant and added copper and red coral beads. The copper chain has had red coral components that I made added to it. Attachment DeletedThanks for looking! Dawn

Very cool! The red beads really make the whole necklace pop. Great job repurposing.

Beautiful. I agree with Michelle. The red beads give the necklace that little something (I hope one does phrase it like that )

You have a great talent to upcycle those bits and pieces, I can't wait to see more and I wish I could go to that shop with you!

We should keep that in mind for a challenge.

That thought has crossed my mind too, Cat. Going to add it to my challenge list for the future. Thanks! You know what would be really fun? Have a challenge where participants sign up in advance and do an old components swap. Then you have to make something with whatever your swap partner sends to you. Given past participation I imagine it would be a small group, but we could still have fun with it. Dawn

I really like this, Dawn. You've really done a good job repurposing (is that a word?) these components!
