Well, maybe just a little curse. I finally found my copy of PS Elements 7 and installed it on my brandy new laptop (for me a laptop is a necessity; don't have cable tv and eat lots of nice simple (cheap) meals). I didn't have the manual that came with it so when I clicked on the help button up comes a message that PSE 7 help is no longer online but I can download a copy. Fine. Downloaded the manual that was 486 pages; funny, I don't remember it being that large but then I hardly ever read manuals unless absolutely necessary. I keep them if they're needed as a last resort. And wouldn't you know it: the manual was updated to 2011. I've had mine for four or five years! 2011??? And of course when I needed to do some things: you guessed it, not there. (And apparently all the newer versions are not well liked by anyone, but then I admit to not doing a really thorough search.)
Boy, do I feel better now that I've vented my frustrations.

Cool a new laptop...
...bummer...I was hoping for a photo lesson in which you persevered against incredible odds to ultimately get the job done.

Kevin, it took me a day to figure out how to use the wheel on the mouse to enlarge a photo in the Editor. Of course that wasn't included in the new instructions. Had to hunt for it; got some kind of a hint about "default values/settings" but no explanation in the manual. As for resizing photos, took two days to find that. Don't remember having to set it up this way like before. No incredible odds, just an incredibly odd person?
