Well ladies and gents you may have noticed that I have been a bit quiet on the jewellery front...I have good reason. My time this last few months has been spent in bead-looming a portrait of my son who is a budding musician. It has taken over 22,000 seed beads and many many hours of work and back ache. I am very proud of this and I hope you love it too. The finished piece is just over 10inches by 8 inches.x Attachments:

It is stunning, wonderful idea of yours and super implementation of the idea. I would not even have a clue how to do that

Caroline, that is amazing! I have no idea how you seed beaders do that! Like Michele said, you've created a family heirloom.
Wow.

Holy cow, Caroline! That is an amazing and beautiful work of art. Considering the scope, effort and love involved to create this masterpiece, you've forgiven for being scarce lately! Dawn

Caroline, this is stunning! You are so talented with beads so I'm wondering if your son inherited his musically creativity from you. Years from now he'll look back and proudly say his mother made this.
