Was talking to a friend yesterday who was telling how frustrated he was with his camera. He used to have a film DSLR years ago so he knows what a camera can do. But he's about ready to see how far he can toss his digital one. He'd be ready to take a pic and would get a message saying the framing wasn't correct. And the facial recognition is downright evil. I need to add that it is probably an old camera, made by GE.
I really can't think of any feature I wouldn't want to have mostly because I only take pics of my jewelry and some outdoor pics (but nothing fancy). Any feature holding you back?

I'd get rid of the auto flash feature in a heartbeat. If I forget to turn it off, it flashes when I'm taking pics and it takes my camera a very long 8 seconds to be ready to take another picture if the flash goes off. Dawn

There's no feature on my camera that is getting in my way although I am sure there are a lot I don't know. She's my little buddy (no idea why I think she's female, maybe because she loves jewelry and flowers ).

Right there with Dawn. Don't need no stinking autoflash. That and fully automated settings, like everything is auto. Nope, you can't control the image that way and will get unexpected and unwanted results. One of my most frequent complaints before I learned better was that I couldn't get the focus correct on the right object in frame. It was all the auto settings thinking it knew better. huh
