The earrings I am about to show here were designed in the beginning as an open ring. Here's what happened about 10 years ago: I tried to make a ring by soldering small spirals to one another. What happened was that when I hammered the soldered pieces around an anvil, the result looked too fragile to me. I thought people would wear it once or twice and it would break. So I stashed it in a drawer and waited for a better idea to come up. A few weeks ago I found the rings in my drawer and hammer straightened them. I thought to myself the design was not interesting enough. So I soldered 6 millimeter bezels on three of the spirals of the earrings and set 3 Peridot stones in them, and suddenly I liked the result. So here they are. Hopefully you will like them too

Very cool, Irith! Love the design; setting the stones in various spots was a great idea. They make me think of a waterfall. Dawn

Again - these are amazing, I love them and think they would look great in different colors.

Thank you Dawn and cat:) Dawn, a waterfall sounds great. A friend told me it reminded her of blowing bubbles True Cat. I can make them in different colors and in different lengths too.
