This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is ASYMMETRICAL. We last did that in 2017. Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made five years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see a lot of creative pics of your ASYMMETRICAL jewelry.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
The Oldies but Goodies Challenges will last two weeks, so you have enough time to share your items! To make it easier, the end date is in the subject now.

All are beautiful and artistic, but the white pendant with the hill and the brown beads on the right are exactly what I would love to wear to show off what a friend has made!

Thank you, Irith! Isn't that a beautiful picture jasper? I chose the freshwater pearls because their color fitted the outlines of the hill perfectly. I love how picture jaspers so often show wonderful desert scenes.

I love all types of Jasper. The one you chose is perfect with the matching pearls.

It is difficult for me to think creatively in asymmetric. It’s my education, training, and experience in my career and skill sets. I may need to think out of my box more! I love the fossils piece best in the OP set of pieces. And the body of work as some of my faves in Irith’s submittal. Brad

Lovely pieces, Cat! I am in love with the second one - everything about it is just wonderful. Irith, you never disappoint. I especially like the last pair of green earrings. Brad, I think most of us have difficulty with asymmetrical designs. Our brains like things that are uniform but it's a great exercise in creativity and thinking in new and different ways. Dawn

I love the seaglass earrings, but the second pair has such beautiful flow, it's my favorite among these beauties.
Thank you, Dawn and Brad! Brad, I had so much fun making that ammonite piece. I love making tentacles.
I had a problem with asymmetrical designs for a long time. Now I enjoy the flow from asymmetrical pieces and I have big fun with them, for example in bead embroidery pieces. A few times, I have just cut a piece of backing in a freeform shape and then seen what I could do with that. Maybe you would have fun doing the same with a piece of copper.

Cat, I’ve never seen the Jasper piece that looks like hills before. Gorgeous! And it is so cool how the jaspers can create pictures sometimes. And of course, I love the first piece, but all of your pieces are lovely.

Irith, what beautiful pieces. I especially love the second pair of earrings where one stone is pointed up and the other down. What type of stone are they?

Brad, like you asymmetry is sometimes a challenge for me. But I’m working on it. 😄 Here are some of mine:

Thank you, Michelle! While you know I love your wire wrapping, my favorite one here is the multistrand necklace. I can't say I have seen any asymmetrical necklace like this one and it's so fun!
