Thank you!
Ugh I’m sorry you’ve been down, but I get it. You’ve got to take care of yourself first and foremost. ❤️

Love it, love it, love it! The scales were a good call. Nicely done, Michelle! No worries about being late, Cat. I probably will be too. Hope you feel better soon! Dawn

Thank you, Michelle and Dawn. I'm still hurting, but it's getting better, so I even started on my piece last night when I wasn't able to sleep (I had slept for practically two and a half days over the weekend, so that's not surprising). The start is looking good, but I hope I'll find the perfect beads for the finish as well Edited to update: After the good start, I found that my idea doesn't work. I used one of my curtain rings and intended to bead embroider the constellation, a star bead for the biggest star, a bigger seed bead for the smallest one and crystals for the other three, tiny seed beads to connect them all. The cancer constellation is not that exciting and 1. it looked like a weird three hand clock to me and 2. the center of the ring was a bit too small and the weird clock looked squeezed in. I hated it and cut the constellation up again. I'll keep the bezel and use it for something else because there is already too much time in it, but I don't have enough of the beads to make a second one and I only have the flat copper rings which are bigger, but don't really work. So now I don't have an idea anymore *sigh*

Want my middle name, too? I heard it was Lazy I think I may have found a way to deal with my dilemma. Cross your fingers for me, I'm too lazy to do that myself

Ha! Good one, Carole! Cat, I have no doubt you'll come up with something wonderful. Hang in there; if it's any consolation, I'm going to be late too. I know what I want to do but I'm still trying to get caught up from being on vacation and am not going to have time to work on it for another day or two. We can be late together. Dawn

I finished that part of the pendant now that has nothing to do with cancer. I should probably not try to add the sign now as it's late and I'm almost sure I'd mess it up. I threw two ideas together, kind of. Well, we'll see.

Muahahahaaaaa .... once der Dekan is done napping on my legs, I can get the backing and finish my pendant? My idea mashup has worked very nicely if I may say so myself. At least I like it.

Frustrating when an idea doesn’t work. I had one idea drawing yesterday (not related to our stuff) that didn’t work after spending hours on it. I am glad you are starting to feel better, Cat!

I really am, thank you, Michelle. I even vacuumed part of the flat. Just the bail missing now, Ms. Challenge Mistress Dawn!

Good for you, Cat, good for you! Glad you are feeling better too. Hmmmmm...I guess the Challenge Mistress better get to work on her piece or she is going to be left in the dust by the rest of you! Dawn

I got the best Valentine gift (can't tell yet what), but it stopped me from finishing the bail, so don't worry yet

Right on time. I call this one "Moon Web". You didn't say how prominent the zodiac sign had to be, so I made the constellation really tiny now and I actually like it. The moon in perigee has been fascinating me forever and it works perfect for a cancerian. The spider web has been on my list for a while, too (and it still is).
