I finished sawing out 8 leaves, in silver, bronze, and copper. (Time will tell if I get all eight to completion this year.). I have rough polished then annealed them. And punched the holes. so far. Next, I will texture them just like actual leaves, sort of. ;-) Then form them for some depth. A couple of the copper ones and maybe a bronze one, I hope to enamel them front and back with a translucent copper green enamel vitreous enamel. It’s a plan. Anyway…Brad

Thank you, I hope to do the texturing today. But just had “request” from Marilyn to make an etched silver pendent with Christmas theme for her cousin’s “significant” . BTW: They are a many generations Lorrainian in Eastern France. Marie P is that best cook I ever had the joy of dining with, a few years back when we stayed with them. Brad

Thank you, Our now 25 year old gingko tree in our backyard, is our pride and joy of yard stuff. Unfortunately, we did not get the glorious turn to gold leaves this year. The leaves in the WIP pic are traced from a leaf from our tree. Our leaves do not have that wider leaf with a split in the middle. I should look up the biological difference. Brad

Step 2: I finished texturing the leaves in the pattern and very fine ribbing of a Gingko leaf. Silver, bronze, and copper. Next I will anneal and form. brad

Yesterday I cut out silver "earring size" ginkgo leaves and textured them. Some day I will learn to dependably spell that darn word! ;-) Still looking for time to shape/form them all. Brad

These are going to be beautiful when done. You are off to such a great start. I can't help but envisioning a mixed metal version... Dawn

Thank you. I am considering a necklace with a number of leaves, reducing in size up each side of the chain. I am not sure how leaves I should hang?
I have now cut out and textured earrings in silver, copper, and bronze. Brad
