I just wanted to share what I saw, but did not buy. I saw this rooster(about 8" +/-) beaded with tiny seed beads at my brother's antique shop. I thought if one of you beading folks gets bored and have a lot of time on you could do stuff like this. I think of some of those large Victorian Age beaded items. Marilyn thinks this is of Central-ish American or African origin, but was not sure. Brad

It's very cool. My thought is that it is Huichol art from Mexico. They use beeswax to attach the seed beads to the shape which can lead to bead loss because the wax can melt in the sun. I see a spot at the neck which might be explained with that. They make amazing things.
