I found a set of antique brass door push plates! And thought I could make bracelets with them. (The piece is 2-1/2” wide) After cutting end off and forming and soldering, I am wondering, if I made votive holders or napkin rings instead. Other than a bit more polishing, that is why it is a WIP. Any suggestions? Brad

How cool is that!? What a good idea for re-purposing those door plates; I've always been a fan of creating jewelry out of non-jewelry items. Although, I suppose you could stick candles in them in a pinch - ha! Nicely done! Dawn

For me, it would be too wide and rigid as a bracelet, but I think someone with arms more slender than mine would be fine with it. I also like the idea of candles, but wonder if the wax would melt into the holes eventually (which I actually rather like as an idea because it would have something organic).
