So I am looking through my seed beads to start the Nov-Dec challenge piece. And now, I’m like, “whatever possessed me to order those?” And despite having 1000s of beads, I needed to order some. Gah!

That's completely normal! I just ordered beads and the next day I found I had forgotten something although I took so long to put the order together. I do want to know, though, what's so weird about the ones you have? Color, finish, size, shape?

I have a bunch of beads that I wouldn't call weird, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with them. Hey, Cat, remember when we had the ugly bead exchange? That was fun. Dawn

I have a whole collection of beautiful beads that I don't think I will use. I wonder what will become of them (sigh).

I do too, Cat! One of these days I'll think of something. Dawn

The weirdness is that I’ve ordered some really unusual colors - probably because I went, “ooh shiny!” And now I’m wondering what I am going to do them.

Unusual colors can be so much fun to play with. Think of them as a quilter. In quilts you often find bold color combos, right? Try to move that to a bead embroidered piece, for example. Bead embroidery doesn't always need a cab.

That's great advice, Cat! Reminds me of making something out of a bowl of bead soup - there can be some odd mixes on those bowls. Dawn

Thanks, Cat! Great analogy with quilting. Funny you should mention that about not needing a cab. I was looking at YouTube and ran across a piece with no cab. It was really pretty!
