When I first started making earrings, I bought some of those beadable wire hoops from Michaels that the option to hang a drop from the center. But right away I started to dislike the quality of that particular finding, so I looked for other options. I found some tutorials on using stringing wire (like Soft Flex or Beadalon 49 strand) to make hoop earrings, and there are a few different ways to do them, but only one of them that I've found allows you to hang a headpin drop from the center. The one that does allow for it, it worked well one time and then the second time it wanted to get all twisted up. Here are the methods I've tried, and I'll also attach pictures. -threading both ends horizontally through a crimp tube, crimping, and adding the earwire which floats over it (my least favorite of these techniques) -threading both ends horizontally through a crimp tube, crimping, and attaching to earwire with a clamshell -crimping a single loop made from the ends of the wire and attaching the earwire to the loop -looping both ends of the wire and crimping to a jump ring that the drop can hang down from I just think if there was a really good way of making this type of earring, the design possibilities would be endless. Any ideas? Thank you!

I never use beading wire, so I can't think of any other good way right now how to use it, but I like all of the earrings, very pretty!
