I’m totally new to jewelry making so bear with me. I have a 1.6x1.2x0.3mm chain but I can’t find jump rings small enough for that - I’m just v confused on how to add a clasp to that. Would be super grateful for any help you could give!

Welcome to the forum What kind of chain is it? Do I understand right that you have just the chain? Do you have some wire, so you could create your own link to use, like it's done on handmade wired chain for example? It would probably be a bit flimsy, though. Or maybe you could add a headpin? I found a video here that uses one with a bead. I have done that with small link chains before.

I would worry that a jump ring small enough to fit the chain would be too fragile to support the chain. The video posted by Cat is a good solution. If you don't have small enough headpins, you could do the same thing with a piece of wire thin enough to fit the chain. Welcome to our forum! If you need any help finding your way around, don't hesitate to ask. Dawn
