I have friends getting married this Halloween. I made this for the bride. I hope to get something made for the groom as well.

Very cool, Michelle! I love how you picked up the pink of the skull with those pearls. You mentioned that this was steel wire, right? Looks fabulous. May I ask what wire gauge you use?

Thank you ladies! Cat, the foundation wire is 20 gauge. (I am wondering if I could get away with using 22). And the weaving wire is 30 gauge.

Love it and the bride will too! What a unique and thoughtful gift. My first thought was to say no to 22g, but since it's steel we're talking about, I'll bet that you could. When I first started I practiced on a roll of steel wire hubby had laying around the garage. That is tough stuff! Dawn

Thank you Dawn & Gayle! I have since learned that another friend is getting married on Halloween in a year. I purchased a bunch of these skeletal cameos - each one different -before these Halloween weddings arose. I’m well-stocked for this apparent trend.
