Anyone remember Fordite from the older forums? I ran across this from an Instructable post a few weeks ago: Fordite Pendant It shows from start to finish how a piece is made. I almost fell over when I read this because I was thinking about all the old members we don't hear from anymore.

I love Fordite! Being in Michigan and just outside of the Detroit metro area, you'd think I'd see Fordite all the time. Nope. It's very rare and fairly expensive.
One of these days, I hope to get my hands on some.
Most of the old members of the forum are on Facebook. I'm still in touch with some of them and Facebook friends with a lot that I don't interact with much. Those old SJA days were a blast, weren't they?

I have one small Fordite cabochon that I bought from Maryann (remember her from SJA?) because I trust her. I also have a paint cabochon that I turned into a ring. This is such a cool stuff and the (even) more expensive cabochons are so cool in their many colors and patterns!
