Well, found another red leather bracelet and I think the photo is pretty close. So here's what I have so far: For number 2: (Be back soon. Can't seem to get pics the size I want. ) Okay, now I remember that you had to click on an image to enlarge it. Duh! I remember having commented on one in the S&T forum. Turns out the reds were what I wanted after all. So, here, had to adjust the lights and shadows to give the bracelet a bit of depth. Then after sharpening the image a bit too much (sorry, forgot save that one but you can see a bit of fuzzyness still) I decided to blur the button just a bit: Pretty much done. But although on my monitor/in my file of jewelry the background is much lighter. The background posted here still looks dark. If I were going to post it on Etsy, ArtFire or on another site I would lighten it up even further. (Which would mean another long session of selecting the bracelet and keeping it from being lightened as well. Sorry, just too much trouble now, got frustrated figuring out posting pics.) This really really weird: while the thumbnail looks bright the enlarged pic doesn't. Just noticed that when checking the post. Finally, notice how blue the background is inside the square? That's what the image started out with. Finally finally, if I were to want to post this I think another background would really set off the bracelet better. " " ", as it's taken almost an hour to do this I think I'll post before and after pics another day. Next time: number 3.

I hear you about backgrounds looking so differently on different pages. I often hate what Facebook does with my pictures for example. Can't please all monitors anyway, though ...
Thank you for going through all the work to share this with us!
