This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is COLD AGAIN. Again because we did that before. Almost exactly three years ago I wrote on my blog (I still did the collages then) "I chose the topic on a cold day when I was tired and grumpy and couldn't seem to warm up." Today it's tired and poorly and I can't seem to warm up. Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made five years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler. You can interpret COLD the way you would like to, colors, depicting something cold, let your fantasy play!
We hope to see a lot of creative pics of your COLD jewelry.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
The Oldies but Goodies Challenges will last two weeks, so you have enough time to share your items! To make it easier, the end date is in the subject now.

I wasn’t here for the original COLD challenge, so it’s all new to me. 😄 And as I’m feeling poorly and taking it easy, I thought I would be first. I associate some shades of blue with COLD, like the blue below. And the druzy part of this dyed agate looks like frost: And some shades of purple are COLD to me: And that’s it for my COLD jewelry. 😄

Perfect! Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I slept a few hours this afternoon and am feeling a bit better. I hope you will soon, too.
You know I love the pendant, but I don't remember the earrings and I really love them. The length is perfect and the mix beautiful.

Michelle and Cat, It is the 27th today, so I really hope you are both feeling much better ! I love your Blue pendant Michelle. It is so rich in blue shades and it is gorgeous. I also love the earrings with the beautiful variety of blue beads. Cat, your cold pieces are artistic and beautiful. I would love to wear the icy bead pendant, the one before last in the row. A few of mine:

Dawn, So sorry I did not manage to write how I love the creativity in your jewelry pieces from the "Found Objects" show and tell thread. I keep missing comments before Cat locks the thread. Perhaps I will begin to sign reminders on Mondays in my calendar.

Beautiful, Irith! That last ring looks as if it was taken directly from an ice cave, so pretty.

Thank you Cat. The stone in the last ring is a natural raw Aquamarine stone.

Thanks so much, Cat and Irith!
Cat, all of these are amazing! I’ve never seen the first necklace. Gorgeous! The first icicle necklace really captures the idea of cold. You have a gift for putting a feeling into your jewelry.
Irith, such stunning pieces! Of course, it is the opals that draw my attention the most. 😁

This weekend I thought I'd dig in my stash and got out two rivolis that I had for a long time and when I had made the top parts, I thought some ice flowers with crystals from my stash would complement them nicely. Just now I wanted to start a new thread for the earrings, but as this thread is open two more days, it was a nice coincidence that they fit the topic so well. I call them Ice Flowers. They are a PITA to photograph!

I am going to break my rule about not posting to locked Oldies threads to... #1. apologize for being so late and not commenting on all of the beautiful work posted. and #2 not posting any of my stuff to the challenge. I don't like to make excuses, but am going to chalk it up to being vacation discombobulated. I made a mental note about the deadline a week or so ago, but, of course, forgot promptly all about it. *head hitting desk* Dawn
