I had a look at my Delica stash which has been rather neglected because I hardly do any looming at the moment. So many beautiful beads hidden in a drawer, a shame. I'm not a great off loom beader with Delicas, I mostly know the stars and the folded peyote. I didn't feel like stars, but thought I'd make the folded style a little more interesting for me to do by doing a little ombre pattern as well as I could manage on the small strips If only they were easier to photograph! Maybe I'll need one more pair with a real oomph contrast. Earrings, Dawn, are you proud, lol?

I'm so proud! Really like that shape and the 3D look as well as the hombre (I have a weakness for hombre). I'll bet your busy brain could come up with all kinds of ways to use that technique. Dawn

Thank you, Brad and Dawn!
Dawn, I could make a zigzag bracelet like that or just a zigzag component as a focal for example. You could also use them like links or sew them together in some way like I did in the star. You can also make them one color on both side, but with a differently colored edging. On my FB page I asked if people would like to see different colors and two friends wrote red and blue, so maybe I'll see what reds and blues I have in my stash.

I think they are both lovely. The black and white one looks especially elegant to me. I would love them in red too.

I love both of these, Cat! The gradient of the black and white pair is exceptional.

Thank you, Michelle! I finished the red ones last night, but found that I don't have enough of the blues that are in my stash to make earrings, so that will have to wait until the next bead order. I'm tempted to try some in bead soup eventually, smaller maybe.

What's the matter, Irith?
As I can't do the blue, I picked some greys from my huge selection now. My Delicas are not very colorful which is funny because my seed beads are. Actually by making these, I'm just procrastinating on my next project for which I'm still trying to figure out how to do it best.

The red version. I started on the grey, but I think for now my patience with it has been exhausted. It helped that I got a request for a custom order, so I can take a break from them

Thank you! The darker red is transparent and really beautiful, it reminds me of the cherries on the tree in my friend's garden when I was a kid. I can't forget to include it again in the next bead order!

Finally the blue version which my friend asked for (and just bought fresh out of the oven, I'm happy she likes them). Next up will be something completely different, I swear!

Cat, you wrote : "What's the matter, Irith?" you reacted to something I wrote. I Just checked it now and was shocked!
I probably referred to something else and put it there mistakenly. (it was a reference to the red pair) I don't even remember putting it there!!!! I deleted that reaction now.
As for the the blue version, they are striking!

Now find lipstick to match the red earrings, and you can sell the set as the sexy or hot set, eh. ;-). Brad
