All banter aside, I very much doubt that, Cat. I have high expectations for these ... Dawn

I did something I would usually never do, Dawn, but you mentioned a word I made a seventh color variation last night.

Here we go I pushed another post back, so you wouldn't have to wait any longer for this one. The sequins are always in the color of the stocking except those on the top, they and the edging are in the color I used for the dots in the stockings.

OMG!!! How cute are those!? They'd be adorable as pendants, earrings or tree decorations. What did you have in mind for them? Love, love, love them and they are perfect for this challenge. You have set the bar high, Cat, but then I knew you would. Dawn

Oh, and I also love that some point to the left and some point to the right - that's paying great attention to detail right there. Dawn

Thank you, Dawn! I see them as pendants or ornaments. The smaller ones would make nice earrings, but I can't be bothered to make something symmetrical at the moment. Maybe next year if I still remember then.

Feeling quite pleased with the progress I made on my challenge piece today. I abandoned my original idea for something new and it's working out better than I thought possible. Since it's not finished, I will be taking it with me to the Aframe while I'm staying over this week and am hopeful I'll get it done before the deadline. woohoo! Dawn

OK, it's more like evening, but better late than never! I do not have any chain with me nor do I have any 20g wire to make chain, so I used some red ribbon as cord. It's not permanent, but will give an idea of what it would look like worn as a necklace. My inspiration came from these lines in the poem: When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer. So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too." He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight, HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT! This miniature sleigh measures one inch tall and 1.5 inches wide. If I had more time, I'd tinker with trying to add a tiny Santa in the sleigh and some teeny reindeer pulling the sleigh, but this is going to have to do. Maybe I'll play around with it more when I get home. Dawn
