About 15 years ago I bought a bunch of aqua colored Aventurine stones in a shop in Tel Aviv. I made one or two pairs of earrings with them, and then left the rest of them in a box to move on to something else. Lately I found again and enjoyed their beauty again, so decided to make a pair of earrings. I have already used a similar design before for a pair of Carnelian stones. These are the earrings I made long ago (but intend to make new ones in the future) The photograph is an old one of course, and does not do much justice to the stones : The new ones I made last week: I hope you will like them.

Oooooo, Irith, those are exquisite! Your new photo really captures their beautiful color. I also found it interesting to see the new and the old earrings side by side as they show how your work has evolved over the years. But even with that, I can tell that both pairs were made by you; you have such a distinctive style. Dawn

Thank you very much Dawn. It is important to me to know that you find my style is distinctive because every now and then I try to do things I never did before. I suppose we all like to experiment.
