The lady who got the last set asked me if I could make another pendant. This time I did a little photo shoot in the garden. Most satisfying was that the gunmetal wire was just enough to finish the last stitch and wrap it around for securing. I bought that spool at least eleven years ago. The wire broke in exact the spot where the tape holding it to the spool started. I would have hated it so much if I had run out one or two stitches early. The wire is from the UK and with the exchange rate and Brexit (tax and custom fees) I'm not prepared to order any new wire soon. If I make more hedgehogs, they will have to live with brown quills because I still have a big spool of brown (from when I thought I was going to tackle a tree project that never happened ).

Awwwww, he's so cute! I also love those garden statues! That was a very lucky break (no pun intended) with the wire. It's so cool when things work out that way. Dawn

Thank you, Dawn He's supposed to be a Christmas present, but I made him early because I couldn't fall asleep (like right now). I offered to keep him here until we are closer to Christmas, so she won't lose him. Maybe I'll send him on more adventures We have a good number of those statues, we also have some hanging on the garage wall. There are two of the big lions, several angels, masks, flowers. My upstairs neighbors brought them from their garden when they moved in. As small as the garden is, there is quite a bit to see, lol.

He looks so much at home on the lion statue. I love the photographs.
