I want to order bulk chains to use with slider beads to make a beaded bracelet.
This is a description of the chain ad:
”Very Thin Small Cable, Light Weight, 1.4x2.2 mm, 29 g”
The silicone-lined holes range from 1mm, 2 mm and 3 mm. I need to find a chain that I can insert a double-strand into. I don’t understand the specs, but I’m assuming the width of the chain is what’s important. What do the numbers 1.4 and 2.2 mm represent?
Thank you!

Cable chains most often have oval links. 1.4 and 2.2 millimeter are the measurements for each chain link, 1.4 for its width and 2.2 for its length. Does that help?

Yes,thank you for replying. It was definitely helpful. I needed to know which value was the width before I placed an order.
