This week's Oldies but Goodies Theme Challenge is SHAPES.
The challenge is to post pieces with classic SHAPES like triangles, squares, circles, etc. so no free form
Go through your stash and post a picture in this thread, that pertains to the theme. It can be something you made yesterday or something you made five years ago. We encourage you to post as many items as you want. Can't make it much simpler.
We hope to see a lot of creative pics of your jewelry with CLASSIC SHAPES.
At the end of the challenge I will (probably) make a collage from the entries (at least one picture from each member) and post it on my blog to share what a talented crowd this is! I will link back to your shop, blog or other pages from your signature. If you don't want your piece/s to be included, please note that in your post.
We'd love to have more members participate in this easy, fun challenge. Won't you join us?
If you need help with shapes, Ernie's magic chain can show you how they look
It's funny, people always like the rectangles bracelet, but it never sold. It's really one of my easiest pieces ever, I think it's just the colors popping out of the black that makes it look cool Thank you!
Sami, I still think that the first pendant has something archaic, as if a wise woman in an ancient tribe would wear it. So neat.
Dawn, you know how much I love that little froggie face!

Phew! What a busy week! I've just managed to catch up with everyone's pieces - they're all beautiful! And so creative.
I love how Cat's pieces have so much colour - definitely inspiration for trying to incorporate a bit more colour into my work! I really like Irith's square ring - I'm definitely not brave enough to try and set a square stone yet! I also like the little frog, Michelle! How cute, and the simple geometric lines of the red and black pendant. Just realised I missed Michelle's cabs - love the elegance!
I always loved geometry in jewellery... not least because it feels easier to cut out a shape than a flower!!!
