Another stone which was waiting to be shown to the world and waiting in my stash is a beautiful :half moon" Ocean Jasper. At first I thought I'd make a minimalist necklace of it, but playing with the design is more fun for me. So this is the result. I hope you will like it....Do you think the chain is too delicate? Should I change it to one with bigger loops?

What a lovely stone and setting! I like how you made two different looking layers.
I would try a bigger chain on one side to see which one I like better. If this one doesn't have a problem with the weight of the pendant, I rather like how it doesn't take any attention off the pendant.

It's beautiful, Irith and I love the setting!
I agree with Cat. Try the bigger chain on one side and see how you like it. Either way, it will be lovely!

Gorgeous! I love the way the flower petals mimic the shapes on the ocean jasper cab. I kind of like the small chain as a contrast to the showy pendant. But I think this pendant will look gorgeous with any kind of chain.

Irith, I love the setting you created for the stone - it's perfect for it! I like the light chain and I don't think I'd change it unless you are concerned that it may be too delicate for the pendant resulting in links coming open. Beautiful work, Irith! Dawn

Thank you very much Dawn:)
I always do my best to buy good chains that have strong links, even thinner chains. I take care to buy quality ones, although anything can happen. For example if it gets caught on something and gets pulled while worn.
