Bravo, Michelle, bravo! That is a beautiful work of art and I'm so glad that you didn't give up on that wonderful stone. You are so right about knowing when to quit. I think that's one of the most difficult things for designers/artists to learn. There's always that temptation to..."just do this one last thing/brush stroke/weave" and next thing you know they've overdone it, or in some cases ruined it. You nailed it! Dawn

Thanks so much, Cat & Gayle! I think the bead embroidery is going to be as addictive quilting, because there are just so many options for color and design. I need to learn how to do the edge properly. My edge isn’t not the recommended procedure. But as this piece is for me, it doesn’t matter.
