This is my last cab from the faux amber baggie, I think. Quite the coincidence that I had ordered too many of the golden brown seed beads, they have the same color as the cab. That way, from a distance it looks a little as if the second golden ring is floating. The cab has an imperfection on one side, by the way, that's why I built the bezel up so high. The brown beads are beautiful, in the light they seem to have a red glow inside. The cab is bead embroidery, the rope is Herringbone spiral. (This is my first iPiccy picture, by the way. At least I can edit pictures at all now, even if I noted that the "wrinkle remover" I use for dust specks blurred a bit of the rope )

This is beautiful Cat. It reminds me of an Apricot.

Beautiful, Cat! It's very warm and rich looking. That was a smart way to hide the imperfection and I LOVE the rope. Dawn

Thank you, ladies!
Caroline, the cabs always made me think of honey, but now that you say it, I can see the apricot as well.
Dawn, I'm usually too lazy to make a beaded rope, but I thought I'd go for it having so much beads of that color. I'm glad I did. I didn't use brown thread on purpose because I like that bit of accent between the rows. With transparent beads I like to experiment with different thread colors.

Cat, I can imagine that it takes quite a lot of time to make a rope like that. I think I'd feel lazy about it too! Dawn

Dawn, it's the same with handmade wire chains. The result is wonderful, but oh, the time!

Beautiful, Cat, and I love the rope! The color reminds me of butterscotch. Yum.

Yep, I do know about wire chains. Good comparison. Gayle, butterscotch is a great description for the rope. That color is just amazing. Dawn
