I’ve been deep into bead reorganization. When Dan and I moved to our 578 sq ft condo, I knew my hobbies needed to be compact. I chose jewelry making as a new hobby, because beads are small. Right? Yeah well, that depends on how many you have.... LOL! Consequently, there wasn’t much rhyme or reason to my storage, and things seldom got put back. I struggled to find things. Then Dan started buying these bath bombs for me that came in these pretty round cardboard containers. And I couldn’t bear to throw them away. Finally it occurred to me that I was looking at a solution to my bead problem! I bought some Mod Podge and scrapbook paper and am decorating each one differently: This one holds all my seed beads. I wrote a post about it if you’re interested: mybijoulifeonline.com/~bijoube2/bead-reorganization-one-thing-leads-to-another/

How lovely and a great idea to use these containers!
I moved the thread to "Bead with me" from Chit Chat because that's definitely a topic every jewelry maker has to deal with.

What a great idea! I love that you are decorating them and I love to see them being re-purposed instead of thrown away. I imagine that they stack nicely; I'm picturing a row of them neatly stacked on a shelf. Dawn

Now that our son has moved into his own flat I have a whole bead room. It was originally his music room but it is now all mine.
